We are offering Professional Internships 

As an FTTH Technician, you will play a key role in FTTH customer installations, network expansion and decongestion, as well as the maintenance and troubleshooting of fiber optic infrastructure and equipment, directly contributing to improving the customer experience and expanding the company's FTTH network.

·       Centralizing and executing work orders (FTTH installations, fault reporting, terminations, network extensions and decongestion) submitted by commercial establishments;

·       Processing technical requests received from commercial establishments as quickly as possible;

·       Performing qualification tests on access points, line equipment, and customer environment compatibility (power supply, air conditioning, grounding) before work begins;

·       Cabling of the physical FTTH installation (fiber pulling, connection, installation, and patching) and configuration of equipment at the customer's premises;

·       Technical management of subscribers through connection nodes (PC/FAT and equivalents);

·       Software configuration and commissioning of equipment installed at the customer's premises;

·       Activation of services and benefits subscribed to by the customer;

·       Diagnosis of the causes of malfunctions and resolution of incidents as part of fault reporting;

·       Detection of access congestion and technical resource outages, and contribution to decongestion efforts;

·       Production of a detailed daily report of interventions performed.

Other related tasks as required.

·       Hold at least a Technical  Diploma in the fields of:

• Telecommunications; • Networks and telecoms; • Electrical engineering; • Computer science (networks); • Or any other related technical field.

·       Be in good physical condition and fit for fieldwork;

·       Demonstrate rigor, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility;

·       Possess analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving incidents;

·       Be able to work effectively in a team and under supervision;

·       Be available, responsive, and service-oriented;

·       Proficiency with computer tools and technical applications (an asset);

Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.

The employee will be responsible for:

·       Performing tasks in a professional manner at all times;

·       Providing updates to his immediate superior on a regular basis regarding the activities under his responsibility;

·       Submit activity reports on time;

Notifying the immediate superior of any problem that may affect the profitability and finances of the company.
